Geelong Gallery

Established in 1896, Geelong Gallery is one of Australia’s leading and oldest regional art galleries. Prior to the 1999 rebranding, the Gallery was formally know as the Geelong Art Gallery. The word 'Art' was removed from the name to make the institution more approachable, this allowed for a typographic play on the name for the identity, playing on the sense of discovery.  

In 2018, Pidgeon Ward were commissioned to update the identity which had served the Gallery well for 20 years.
