700 Bourke - National Australia Bank
Prompted by architectural themes of geology, memory and community, the wayfinding concept for NAB D2 focuses on the premise of liminal space, and the transitional journey between them.
Utilising the existing built environment and inherent concrete framework, organic geological structures throughout the building signify the core principals of community, growth and connection – whilst offering the pragmatic means to direct people along a more precise directional axis.
This blending of environments is also echoed by a transitional spectrum of colour growing through the building, and further reflected in details within the wayfinding structures themselves.
