Studio STH

Established in 1977, Studio STH is an Australian architecture and interior design practice dedicated to creating environments that enhance lives and strengthen communities. The firm has an international reputation in the Health sector and has expanded into Aged Care, Mental Health and Residential projects. 

Originally operating under the name Silver Thomas Hanley in both Melbourne and Perth, the two offices subsequently fell under different director ownership. The Melbourne office which had expanded to include offices in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane looked to differentiate itself under the renaming and branding to Studio STH. 

The brand mark stems from the north point on a drawing sheet and extrapolates out to form the letter ‘s’.

The design system embraces Studio STH’s structured approach to design which is shaped through deep stakeholder engagement and evidence-based learning, while providing a flexible framework for creative expression.
